Lifting body and spirit Hi! We're a digital and pop-up yoga studio serving busy professionals, athletes, and everyday people. We currently offer online classes via Facebook Live, as well as corporate and private lessons in Wellington’s CBD. We view yoga as a skill to be learned, a tool to be used to heal the body, calm the mind, and liberate the spirit. It complements our lives, training us to stay present during the challenges that inevitably arise in our world. Online yoga We enjoyed doing our online classes live so much during lockdown/rāhui/noho taratahi that we decided to continue our offerings! We are so thankful for the koha/gifts that have already been given, and we thank those who will continue and begin to support us in the future. We love what we do, and we’re glad you do, too! Private Yoga We offer online or in person private yoga customized to your unique needs. Contact us to discuss your particular needs, and we create a package just for you! Corporate Yoga We offer corporate classes online or in-person in the Wellington CBD. Contact us to discuss your particular needs, and we’ll create a package just for you! Meet the team — Jenifer, Katie, and Kerry! For 10 years, Healium has been providing vibrant, fun yoga classes designed to develop radical acceptance and self awareness. Jenifer has been teaching for 25 years in the Krishnamacharya lineage, is a registered Yoga Therapist with YogaNZ, and holds recent trainings in Postural Patterning with physiotherapist Nik Curry and in Contractile Fields with osteopath Phillip Beach. Katie has been working with Bodies and Breath for over 30 years, with specializations in somatics, cultivating consent, and using a non-dual framework for Relationships. All of Katie’s Work draws on decades’ study of Yoga, Taoism, Buddhism, 'the arts', and having fun. Kerry’s approach links posture with breath, typically called Vinyasa. She emphasizes the importance of cultivating sensory awareness, functional movement, and clear thinking about practice. Her studies are on-going via her mentor, Jaime Ortega who teaches out of NYC.
