WELCOME TO PILATES FLOW BOUTIQUE PILATES STUDIOS IN THE HEART OF HATAITAI AND KELBURN VILLAGES, WELLINGTON At Pilates Flow we combine modern evidence-based physiology with Joseph Pilates' original repertoire and philosophy. We offer private and small group apparatus class for health and fitness and Therapeutic Pilates lead by registered Physiotherapist for injury rehabilitation. The teachers at Pilates Flow are committed to furthering their Pilates training with a continuing programme of study and education OUR CLASSES ALL CLASSES ARE 1 HOUR IN DURATION If you are a new client please contact us for bookings - existing clients can book group classes online. PILATES PRIVATE TASTER A one-on-one introduction to our studio, the equipment and the Pilates method. If you are seeking injury rehabilitation, this session will be taken by a registered physiotherapist. STARTER PACKAGE Following the Private Taster Session, all clients complete a Starter Package of three private sessions. These sessions familiarise the client with basic Pilates principles and exercises on both the apparatus and the mat. MIXED GROUP OR THERAPEUTIC GROUP (with registered physiotherapist) A maximum of four clients per session ensures that each person is under the constant guidance of the teacher as they work through a large and varied repertoire. The classes consist of a mixture of Apparatus and Matwork and each session is individualised to the clients specific needs and goals and changes to suit the mind and body on that day. PRIVATE CLASSES After completing the Starter Package you may choose to continue with Private one-on-one Classes. JANNA HAWKINS PHYSIOTHERAPIST AND PILATES TEACHER Janna was born in the west coast town of Raglan, where from a young age her time was shared between dance and music. During high school she developed a keen interest in nutrition and physical health. She began her studies in physiotherapy after relocating to Auckland. Upon completing her studies Janna trained both as a Pilates apprentice at DancePilates/Westmere PIlates and in the Polestar International Rehabilitation training programme. She has been using Pilates as her primary tool in rehabilitation since 2003.
