What to bring & how to prepare Mats, Props, Open Mind For In Person classes in our ever-changing, unsure Covid-19 environment, it is safest to bring your own mat and props (blocks/strap/cushion or bolster/blanket). We will spray and clean all equipment at the end of the class. If you're at home joining an online class, then you'll need your own mat and props. Have your props beside the mat ready. If you've never tried yoga before, get in touch and I'll steer you to the approppiate class. Once you've attended a few classes you'll work out what props you require. Please be punctual whether you're joining an In Person or online class.Five minutes before the start is good, you can get set up and we can have a quick chat to settle you in. How to prepare: it is best to practice on an empty stomach so avoid eating within an hour of the class start time wear comfortable clothing, that allows for movement and a top that won't fall down onto your face when you bend over be ready for quiet as the class will be in silence with only the sounds that are around on the day Teaching style & teachers Yoga for you My aim is to guide people through a yoga experience where we can explore and find what we need from yoga together. If a yoga class with me makes you smile and breathe with ease and grace, then I've achieved my purpose as a teacher. I have been teaching since 1994. My teacher training has been with Knoff Yoga and the expert tuition of Nicky Knoff and James Bryan. I have achieved Foundation (2004), Intermediate (2008) and Advanced (2014) levels of certification. Nicky and James continue to provide guidance and support, for which I am extremely grateful.
