SCIENCE IN MOTION
At the Science in Motion Pilates studio, we provide a relaxed, open environment and highly personalised Pilates classes. Our sessions are suitable for complete beginners looking for an introduction to the benefits of Pilates, as well as more advanced students seeking a deeper exploration of movement. The studio has a decidedly scientific, analytical philosophy on fitness, and we offer our clients a unique movement experience, emphasising individual development. Classes focus not only on selected Pilates exercises, but also on the finer details of technique. You will develop heightened body awareness and new movement skills, and will learn to take those skills out of the studio and into your daily activities.
PRIVATE SESSIONS
Private pilates sessions allow you to experience the undivided attention of your teacher, and to benefit from your teacher’s acute powers of observation and analysis. Sessions are scheduled according to our mutual availability.
GROUP CLASSES
If you are completely new to pilates, you will need to do a few private or semi-private sessions before joining the group classes. This is so that you can learn some of the basic pilates techniques and so that we can familiarise ourselves with your particular needs. Our group classes accommodate up to 9 participants per class. Please book your spot in the group classes in advance.
