The Viva Gym concept has been brought to South Africa from Europe, to finally offer something that this country has been missing: a gym with high quality, world-class equipment at an affordable rate. We believe that everybody should be striving to be fit and healthy, and to do this we have made it as convenient and affordable for you as possible. We do this by cutting through all of the unnecessary extras that drive up monthly fees at existing gyms, such as swimming pools and steam rooms; Viva has instead decided to focus on providing a modern, energetic and innovative exercise experience that will appeal to all.

We also have over 210 pieces of the latest brand new fitness machines that will provide for every training need imaginable. In addition to laying out our fantastic equipment optimally for you in over 1500m2 of training areas, we also have an aerobics and spinning studio for the Group Trainers, free WIFI in the ‘chill area’, fully kitted out showers and change rooms so that you can freshen up after your workout, and valuables lockers as well as change room lockers to keep all your belongings safe. It’s hard to believe that you will have access to all of this for such a low membership fee, but that is the way it is, the Viva Gym way.
KICK BOX
A COMBINATION OF AN AEROBIC WORKOUT, BOXING AND MARTIAL ARTS BASED ON KICK-BOXING WHICH INVOLVES KICKING AND PUNCHING. A TOTAL BODY WORKOUT WHICH WILL IMPROVE STRENGTH, FITNESS, FLEXIBILITY AND COORDINATION WHILE GETTING THE HEART RATE UP.
YOGA
THIS IS A CLASS THAT IS BASED ON A HARMONIZING SYSTEM OF DEVELOPMENT FOR THE BODY AND MIND. THE PRACTICE OF YOGA MAKES THE BODY STRONG AND FLEXIBLE; IT ALSO IMPROVES THE FUNCTIONING OF THE RESPIRATORY, CIRCULATORY, DIGESTIVE, AND HORMONAL SYSTEMS. YOGA BRINGS ABOUT EMOTIONAL STABILITY AND CLARITY OF MIND. GREAT COMBINATION OF STRETCHING, STRENGTHENING AND CENTERING.
PILATES
DESIGNED TO IMPROVE PHYSICAL STRENGTH, FLEXIBILITY, POSTURE, AND ENHANCE MENTAL AWARENESS. PILATES STRENGTHENS DEEP CORE MUSCLES THROUGH CONTROLLED MOVEMENTS DONE AS MAT EXERCISES OR WITH EQUIPMENT TO TONE AND STRENGTHEN THE BODY. CORE STRENGTH IS THE NAME OF THE GAME.
BOOTCAMP
A MILITARY INFLUENCED STYLE OF TRAINING THAT IS DESIGNED TO BUILD STRENGTH AND FITNESS THROUGH WEIGHT TRAINING AND CARDIOVASCULAR TRAINING. INTERVAL TRAINING DESIGNED TO CATER FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENT FITNESS LEVELS. THE IDEA IS TO PUSH YOURSELF TO YOUR LIMIT.
