The Art of Movement - dance, yoga and fitness studio

The Art of Movement is a warm and beautiful dance and yoga studio situated in the Emmarentia, with a secondary studio in Greenside. Established in 2012, we already boast a busy timetable of dance, yoga & fitness classes throughout the day for children from as young as 4. In terms of dancing we are an I.S.T.D affiliated studio (International Society of Teachers of Dancing), and host annual examinations, participate in competitions and eisteddfods. We also put on end-of-year productions for all the parents to watch their little dancers on stage. We follow a set syllabus to ensure that our dancers get the correct training and technique of an international standard. We have 4 lovely studios each with a warm, fresh and positive energy . Equipped with sprung floors, and dance props we ensure that our dancers get the best experience at the studio. As a yoga studio we try to ensure as much of a serene space as possible filled with yoga mats, blocks, heaters, and other yoga props. Our classes are personal and intimate creating a safe space for you to practice, knowing that the teacher is keeping a watchful eye on you. We also conveniently have our own little shop available for our students to purchase dance wear for for ballet, modern and tap. We have sizes for children and adults. Leotards; jazz pants; ¾ pants; ballet, modern &tap shoes; as well as stockings are available. For our yoga practitioners we have some yoga clothes for your convenience. There are yoga mats, and carrier bags available for purchase.
