Ananda Sanga Yoga Centre is an academic institute in South Africa dedicated to spreading the ancient Art and Science of Yoga to humanity. We are dedicated to quality yoga education and training, nationally and internationally. Surrounded by farmlands, orchards and vineyards, our Yoga Centre is situated in the scenic suburb of Somerset West, which lies at the foot of the Helderberg mountains in the Western Cape. As one of the oldest Yoga Centres in South Africa, Ananda Sanga maintains and honours the ancient yoga teachings, while making them relevant and practical in the present day and age, for the integration of body, mind and soul. Ananda Sanga Educational Institute (ASEI) is an academic institute in South Africa dedicated to spreading the ancient Art and Science of Yoga to humanity. The Centre was started by Dr Anne & Dr Martin Combrinck in 1991. We are dedicated to quality holistic yoga education and training, nationally and internationally. This is achieved by imparting the ancient knowledge of Yoga to sincere students for integration of body, mind and soul. We maintain and honour the ancient yoga teachings, while making them relevant and practical in the present day and age. Our aim: To promote ethical, integrated yoga principles in a way that is compatible to all traditions, cultures and social groups. Ananda Sanga, started in 1991, is inspired by he spiritual teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, author of the spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi. We offer Kriya Yoga courses, based on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.
