Harmonizing and balancing body, mind and emotions.
Yoga is the knowledge of right life. From this point of view, yoga should be involved in daily life. He has an influence on every area of man, the physical or vital, the mental, the emotional and the spiritual. The word yoga means unity or oneness and derives from the Sanskrit word Yui which means connect, combine, unite. On the spiritual level, the word Yoga expresses the connection of the individual with the universal consciousness. From a more practical point of view yoga means harmonizing and balancing body, mind and emotions.
Strength, agility and endurance, dynamic and calm, tension and relaxation, breathing and mindfulness, challenge and routine - all this includes yoga, one of the oldest and most intelligent fitness systems in the world. This makes it as up-to-date today as it was more than 3,000 years ago.
Asana means the execution of body positions to the solution of physical stresses and tensions. Only consciously performed physical exercises in conjunction with the breathing help to bring both mind, soul and the body into a state of relaxation. Just as human beings live in a world of duality and are exposed to ebb and flow, day and night, these poles also find themselves in a yoga lesson, tension and relaxation, position and opposition. A yogastunde is not to be regarded as something alien and detached, but as an individual possibility with itself and the vicissitudes of life better to come into harmony. The concentration directs the thoughts, feelings and the breath during the exercise to the body region and connects the opposing forces of body, soul and spirit.
