There are many different forms of yoga, often with their own philosophy and practice. In Western Europe and North America, the concept of yoga often refers to physical exercises, the asanas or yogasanas. Their primary goal is to strengthen and mobilize the body so that it can remain as free as possible for a long period in the meditation seat (eg Lotossitz). Over time, however, one recognized the positive effect of physical exercise on the overall well-being of man.

Through the asanas (body exercises), the body is strengthened and stretched, the circulation is stimulated and the internal organs are massaged. Our studio at Steinberggasse 61 is located in the heart of the old town of Winterthur, a 5-minute walk from the main train station of Winterthur. We provide yogamats and various aids. Bring comfortable training clothes, we train barefoot. Cloakrooms are available. If it is your first visit, please come to the studio 10 minutes before the beginning of the lesson.
