Welcome to The Hot Spot Yoga, South West London’s hottest spot for Bikram Yoga, the original hot yoga, in the heart of Parsons Green. Our hot yoga studio is conveniently located to provide hot yoga to the areas of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Putney, Wandsworth, and Barnes. We offer daily 60 and 90-minute hot yoga classes suitable for men and women of all ages in the Greater London area. For beginners new to hot yoga as well as those with regular practice, this unique hot hatha yoga series is guaranteed to enhance your body and mind!
What is Bikram yoga?
Bikram Yoga at The Hot Spot YogaBikram Yoga is the original hot yoga, famous for its incredible healing ability. It is a very specific series of 26 yoga postures and two breathing exercises taught in 40C (105F) heat. The heat provides a safe environment in which to work through resistance in the body, helping to reduce the risk of injury it also increases blood flow and perspiration leading to improved respiration and greater detoxification. Each posture is done in a specific order, systematically preparing the body for the next posture, resulting in powerful and positive health benefits. The sequence is designed for beginners as well as those students who have regular practice.

The same classic sequence with a faster pace, this shorter version delivers amazing benefits and wonderful results. All 26 postures and two breathing exercises are on offer (some performed twice, others once) in this condensed class.
Inferno Pilates is a challenging, full body, low impact, high intensity workout. It is a mat-based class in a warm, not hot, room. Hot Pilates strengthens muscles and burns fat — all without the pounding of a high impact workout. Like yoga, Pilates focuses on breath, alignment, balance, strength and flexibility. The class incorporates HIIT, cardio and strength training. This fun and feisty class is a great complement to your yoga practice.
Yin yoga works on the yin tissues - also known as the connective tissues. In yin yoga you will experience a slow, steady class where you will hold individual poses for longer to work deep into these tissues. If you gently stretch connective tissue by holding a yin pose for a long time in this way, the body will respond by making it a little longer and stronger. Due to the length of the postures held, which creates space and stillness in the mind and body, yin is an extremely meditative style of yoga.
This class incorporates essential oils which at their essence are powerful plant medicine and can be used to support you physically and energetically. Essential oils are also renowned for their ability to improve emotional well-being and are a wonderful complement to your yoga practice. Awaken your senses in this 60 minute yin class which will focus on pressure points, enhancing your personal space and finishes with an indulgent aromatherapy meditation.
This class offers the full classic 26 + 2 sequence at a faster pace. This dynamic version delivers amazing benefits and wonderful results. All postures and and two breathing exercises are offered twice in this condensed class.
The original hot yoga. You will be guided through your dialogue-led practice doing two sets each of the 26 postures and two breathing exercises. Pure Bikram.
We offer a combination of bikram yoga with yoga nidra in this 90 minute candlelit class. At the end of your bikram practise you will be guided through a yoga nidra meditation to create a state of consciousness called samadhi. yoga nidra means 'yogic sleep' and this portion of the class will lull you into a level of consciousness between waking and sleeping to achieve a sense of calm and complete relaxation. Yoga nidra is practised in savasana at the end of the candlelit class. bikram + yoga nidra (90 minute class)
by foot, The Hot Spot Yoga is a four-minute walk from the station. Exit Parsons Green station onto Parsons Green Lane and turn right. Walk south past Le Pain Quotidien until you come to Little Waitrose. Turn directly right onto Heathman's Road and walk to the very end until you come to number 25 where you will find The Hot Spot.
