Yogaloom is a company that offers personalised Yoga and Pilates instruction and tailored training according to the customers’ needs. Katerina, who founded Yogaloom in 2008, comes from a dance background, and brings a huge sense of energy, enthusiasm and kindness with a holistic approach to her teaching and therapeutic work.At the core of Yogaloom is the belief that through the use of movements, physical postures, breathing practices as well as relaxation techniques, visualisation and meditation, we aim to help restore the balance between the body and mind and encourage natural healing. We offer a relaxing practice.
The practice is always yours – instruction is always tailored to each individual’s needs and level of experience.Katerina likes to pay attention to alighment and place her focus on gaining flexibility and strength, as well as control of the mind with the use of breath. She is a highly experienced children’s teacher specialising in with working with children and adults with SEN as well as with ME/CFS, rehabilitation clients and with pregnancy, where her gentle approach is both effective and popular.

Our goal is to find the best way to work with each person or group, encouraging their uniqueness and preserving their health and wellness in the most effective and exciting way. Our system philosophies are summarised in the following principles: Breathing – Pranayama Asanas – Postures and efficience of movement / flow Concentration and Coordination Precision/Control Cantering Relaxation – Sivasana Proper diet Positive thinking and Meditation Our studio Our studio offers a bright and serene atmosphere with Pilates equipments and Yoga props. It can fit up to 5 practitioners for Yoga and 3 for Pilates.
This Beautiful cottage (100 square meters/300 square feet) has been built and decorated with care and lots of manual, elaborate work. The two balconies one small at the back and a bigger one with sea view that can host yoga classes. There are two bedrooms (with sea views), a cute loft and one bathroom, which is located on the mezzanine floor. The kitchen is located on the ground floor, as is the living room which is spacious and comfortable, with a handmade cornstalk-ceiling, a perfect example of the typical country-house architecture. There are two gardens (a small one at the back and a beautiful bigger one with a patio at the front of the house) and a utility room in the basement. The house is very bright, clean and well-ventilated, with lots of windows and doors that let the fresh breeze in. In 4-8min walk there are three taverns (restaurants), and in 5-10 min drive there are ravishing, tranquil beaches.
2,5h drive from Athens Eleftherios Venizelos airport via Harkida bridge or by Oropos-Eretria Ferry boat. From the airport we can arrange to pick you up by taxi or a small bus for more then 3 people. If you like to explore Athens and/or visit Acropolis it is possible as it is near the airport, you can stay an extra day or more if you like or even take few hour before or after your flight.
