South Boston Yoga is a COMMUNITY for all to enjoy. David Vendetti and Todd Skoglund are thrilled and honored to bring our unique approach to holistic health and wellness to South Boston. Our studio offers a huge variety of Yoga Classes and Private Sessions, Workshops, Aerial (anti-gravity) Yoga, Meditation Classes, Pilates Classes, Kirtan, Nutrition/Health Counseling and Personal Strength Training, as well as various modalities of Bodywork and Massage. The studio occupies two floors with four studios, showers, lockers, retail space, two massage rooms, and plenty of room to spread out! We have two fully equipped yoga studios on the 3rd floor that can combine into one of the largest studio spaces in Boston. We have a Hot Studio for hot power yoga and an Aerial/Swing room for Aerial Yoga, Pilates, Core conditioning, and more. Curriculum Daily Asana Practice Breakdown of the individual postures and how to modify and adjust for different students Common injury and special condition modifications (including pre and post-natal practice) Deepening and developing your own practice and overcoming personal challenges Learn to sequence a smart, fun, purposeful class to all levels Study the basic bone and muscle anatomy relating to a yoga practice Discuss the emotional, therapeutic and energetic components of yoga Self-care and developing a personal practice Discuss the ancient and recent sources of our current understanding of yoga Read, watch and discuss current topics in the modern evolution of the practice Learn to teach to different levels of students in any circumstance Engage in a community of like-minded yet diverse practitioners Prepare yourself for entering the health and fitness-related job market
