Our teachings are based on the Krishnamacharya Lineage, which emphasizes safe alignment, one movement per breath and attentive instruction. goodyoga embraces beginners and experienced students alike. Our styles and levels are designed to work together as your needs change from day to day and month to month. Safety, comfort and encouragement are at the core of our mission.

good4u are personal sessions customized to fit your individual needs, interests and experience. goodyoga teachers will help you heal your injury, reduce your stress, nurture your pregnancy or simply help you squeeze in a practice from the comfort of your own home. Whether you’re just starting out or just starting to balance on your head, good4u is worth getting happy about. After all, this is how yoga was originally taught … one teacher with one student.
That said, if your baby, roommate or bull terrier wants to join in, that can be arranged, too.
We currently have 4 Brooklyn locations: 2 in Greenpoint and 2 in Bushwick. Our Annex space in Greenpoint houses our Mysore Ashtanga program and Teacher Training. Memberships give you full access to goodyoga classes in both neighborhoods. Mysore Ashtanga is a membership upgrade.
