The Yoga Bar studios are traditional, non-hot yoga shalas, offering a full menu of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, & Restorative classes. Voted Best Yoga in Cincinnati 2014 + 2015 and Best Yoga in Northern Kentucky 2015.
Class Offerings
New students: We are a one-room schoolhouse. All Yoga Bar classes are taught to every level of practitioner. Come to the class that fits your schedule and let your teacher know you are new to yoga—we will work to make the practice accessible and fulfilling.
Ashtanga/Vinyasa Flow
With a focus on the traditional sequential practice of Ashtanga Yoga’s Primary Series combined with the fluidity of Vinyasa Flow, this dynamic class encourages practitioners to allow their breath/Prana to guide them through the series, while the heat created through the movement encourages release of toxins and overall purification.
Flow + Align
This class will build awareness by refining postures into proper alignment for your specific anatomy. A great class for those wondering am I doing this right? Learn align your body so you can hold postures longer in comfort and ease.
Gentle/Restorative Flow
A series of gently flowing movements to warm the body in preparation for the long-held and supported restorative postures. Props are used to ease your way into deeply relaxing shapes, which are held long enough for the mind to slow down and restoration to begin. Meditation and Pranayama (breath work) are explored during this hour-long class and all yogis are welcome! This is our gentlest class offering.
Vinyasa I + II
Vinyasa Flow I + II are characterized by mindfully sequenced series of heat-building postures linked together by fluid vinyasas. Expect to move, build heat, and then finish class with deep relaxation. These classes are classified as Level I for a slower, gentler flow, and Level II for a faster-paced, more fiery practice.
