Introduction to Props with Daba Briggs
Interested in learning how to add yoga props to your practice? Join Daba, (E-RYT 500) for this introduction of using props to add support, stability, extension, create impressions and more. We will explore props including blocks, blankets (and proper folding), bolsters, belts, and the wall; and we will also find ways to use the things you have in your home creatively in practical application. Yoga teachers and students at all levels can understand where to look for needed areas of support and how to create impressions in our students and our own bodies. You will learn how to add props to you home and studio practices especially when dealing with injury or other conditions and when learning how to take support as its own practice. As a teacher and student in the alignment asana practices, Daba loves to use props.
