Allegro Pilates & Dance is a state-of-the-art equipped Pilates, CoreAlign®, and Ballet studio located in Medford, New Jersey, just off Route 70. We offer a wide variety of small group Pilates, fitness, and ballet classes for adults and children. We are the only studio in the area that offers Flexistretcher® conditioning training and Pilates-based training specifically geared towards youth, athletes, and dancers. At Allegro Pilates & Dance we care about your individual needs and customize your exercise program based on your specific goals. We will help you discover the world of movement that will nourish your body, elevate your spirit, and clear your mind!Svetlana graduated from a prestigious Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts in Dance. In 1993, she joined a world-renowned Kirov (Mariinsky) Ballet where she performed in numerous classical and contemporary productions and extensively toured throughout the world. Svetlana Shapiro

Svetlana began teaching in 2003, first as a ballet teacher and later as a fitness and Pilates instructor. Svetlana received comprehensive Pilates training from Balanced Body University, including Reformer, Tower, Chair, CoreAlign® and Barre. She is also a Flexistretcher® Master Teacher and a certified TRX® trainer. Svetlana is passionate about teaching movement, truly loves to work with people, and strives to give her clients the best Pilates, dance, and fitness experience.
