Housed in a gorgeous, historic building in Greenport that was previously a Masonic Temple, this full-service yoga studio features a full schedule of classes to suit all ages and activity levels. Our credo is centered around our belief that yoga is all-inclusive, and suitable for every body. We aim to make yoga available to all. One of the most wonderful things we experience is when people come to our studio for the first time. The studio is magnificent, with a 24 foot vaulted ceiling, beautiful ornate structural beams and around 1400 square feet of glorious practice space. You can’t help but be swept in by it all. The energy is palpable from all the many practices that have taken place in this space for countless years. We consider ourselves supremely fortunate to call this majestic space home. We share space with Five Branches Wellness, which offers extraordinary massage and acupuncture treatments and also River Rain Renewal, which boasts infra-red saunas, vitamin-D beds and Ionic Foot baths. The combination of these offerings brings the potential for profound healing and renewal of body, mind and spirit. Located in Greenport, New York on the beautiful North Fork of Long Island, The North Fork Yoga Shala is the new home of Claire Copersino, who has been sharing her signature style of eclectic, alignment-based vinyasa yoga on the east end for 13+ years. Drawing from almost 20 years of experience studying with a wide variety of extraordinary teachers, as well as a daily steeping in her own practice, Claire has developed her own unique, refreshing, and inspiring blend of the sweat and vigor of vinyasa yoga with the grounding containment of more alignment based lineages to serve up a practice that lends itself to the unexpected and wrings-out and purifies body, mind and spirit, leaving her yogi’s light, bright and ready to move forward in a more heart-centered perspective. For Claire it is such an awesome privilege to share this practice with the beautiful community of yogi’s who practice with her. For this she will always be so very grateful.
