Atma Jyoti yoga school is the subordinate association Yoga school under Yoga Niketan Ashram, which was established in 1960s by renowned Yogi Swami Yogeswaranand Maharaj ji, continuing to spread the teachings of ancient and traditional yogic practices under qualified yogis.

Our ashram is an international center for sincere aspirants to practice yoga and meditation in a spiritually elevating environment away from the hustle and bustle of Rishikesh nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas by the bank of the holy river Ganges.

Our ashram possesses beautiful, Large and green gardens containing both the modern facilities and traditional ritual environment dedicated to the practice of traditional yoga and meditation, which is an unbroken chain of Himalayan yogis that is more than 5,000 years old.
