It reduces low back pain, lumbar spondylosis and sciatica. Further benefits of this Ayurvedic treatment encompass alleviation of degenerative vertebral diseases, disc prolapse, and other illnesses. It relieves the patient from acute back pain, cervical spondylosis, degenerative vertebral diseases and disc prolapse. It is also beneficial in the treatment of back muscle fatigue, neck pain and spinal disc herniation. This Ayurvedic treatment is similar to Hrid Vasthi. The therapist builds a dam on the spine region and pours medicated oil inside. Afterwards, they remove the dam and the oil, and proceed to perform an intensive massage. Some schools follow the Yoga Alliance International (IYA) standards for 500-hour RYT designation, which requires the student to complete 200-hours and 300-hours of training before receiving the 500-hour certification. Some RYS or Yoga Workshop make modules for these programs oriented to practitioners who have already completed a 300-hour program. Still other Registered Yoga Schools create intense programs which ensure the trainee knows the Five Categories of Asanas. They develop individual and specific modules for medicine, philosophy, history, asanas and classes to practice observation and experience, demonstrate knowledge of how to do the poses in each category, and/or hold workshops where students discuss their common foundation and how to build upon this foundation. Maa Yoga Ashram offers Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India, from beginner to advanced level yoga practitioners who wish to take this step. Our intensive residential Yoga Teacher Training concentrates on preparing individuals with a basic understanding of yoga – both theoretically and practically. We offer hands-on training programs in classical yoga studies in the very land where yoga was originated, Rishikesh, India. Our Yoga Teacher Training is beneficial for all levels.
