Himalayan yogshala mission is to guide each yoga practitioner through the evolution of their yoga practice and help facilitate his or her spiritual and personal growth. Whether an experienced practitioner or beginning one’s yoga journey, all are welcome. My mission is to create a spiritual refuge for the yoga community as well as to offer an array of classes for every type of practitioner. My intention is to maintain a space where students feel comfortable and safe growing and advancing in their asana (posture) practice as well as supporting their spiritual growth. I encourage and welcome new practitioners to discover yoga and begin a disciplined practice.
Our purpose on this planet is to serve and help others. I have built the himalayan yogshala on the principle of seva which means the act of giving, the devotion to service. SUPPORTING THE INDIVIDUAL. Through yoga, we assist the individual in connecting with themselves in order to develop self-acceptance, confidence, stability, strength, flexibility, awareness, well-being, and clarity.

Accommodation & Facilities All facilities mentioned below are inclusive in the program fee. Comfortable, all-inclusive transport and meal from the time you reach Delhi or DEHRADUN. We take care of you the moment you reach Delhi. We arrange your pick up from the airport, ( DELHI OR DEHRADUN) private transportation from Delhi to Rishikeh andn meal (on the way) according to your need. (so you won’t have to worry about anything from the time you arrive). We understand that for a 4 week-long training program, you need a comfortable stay. Students are provided with fully furnished exclusive (one person in one room, not sharing or dormitory) luxurious rooms. Rooms are air conditioned with private bathroom with hot and cold running water and all modern amenities like wifi. etc. At our school (HYS) the staff is fully trained in all aspects of Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Customer Care and Nutrition Festooned with tasteful decoration. Our school is located at Laxman Jhula. Rishikesh is famous all over the world as a spiritual town, The Yoga Capital of The World; Guests can take in the sights of nearby areas, such as the Parmarth niketan, Neelkanth mahadev temple, Swarga ashram, Gita bhawan etc. NOT ALLOWED –Bonding among students is very important during a 4 week long training program. We arrange outdoor activities each weekend like trekking, river rafting (subject to seasonal availability), local sightseeing, visits to ashrams, Ganga aarti (fire ceremonies), and outdoor meditation so that students can get to know each other outside of class. These bonding sessions are an opportunity to make lifelong friendships. During the course, we also encourage student interaction and bonding’s through group discussions, presentations, quiz programs and small group activities.
FOOD-We have a specific kitchen designed for our students. We ensure that during the yoga teacher training program, all food is sattwic (pure vegetarian) and prepared in hygienic conditions. We provide three meals and two teas every day. All meals are pure vegetarian and freshly prepared (not frozen) in line with the principles of yoga. There are many different varieties, so that students can enjoy different seasonal vegetables and fruits.
