Rishi Yoga Shala

We founded Rishi Yoga Shala in 2015 to create a practice space to welcome French speakers and to share teachings in Rishikesh, India. We have thus become the first French-speaking yoga school in the Himalayan Valley where yoga training-retreats are offered in French, every year from October to March. We also come to France every year from May to September, and offer training-retreats weeks in Lestelle-Bétharram in the Pyrenees. You can participate in a session to learn how to teach yoga to beginners, but also to deepen your own spiritual practice ( sadhana ), such as a retreat. All our training-retreats take place in residential and are open to beginners, practitioners and teachers. For some training courses, you can also choose to take part in Rishikesh and part in Lestelle. Our courses and trainings take place at the Om Shivaay Inn hotel in the Tapovan district of Rishikesh. Our yoga room is located on the top floor of a clean and welcoming family hotel, run by helpful and smiling staff. This practice area is large, bright, and offers a beautiful view of the mountains and the Ganges. Our courses and training take place at the hotel Le Vieux Logis at the foot of the Pyrenees, near the Gave de Pau valley. It is a family house lovingly transformed into a charming hotel complex, with a beautiful practice room, for a warm welcome in the Béarn tradition.
