Our location is the best at avoiding all smoking, drinking, meat eating, heavy traffic and putting you with in short walking distance to all the most important sites such as Parmath Ashram and Ghat, the famous Beatles Ashram, prayer and meditation on the steps of the Ganga river, shopping and dining in the most charming town of Ram Jhula. Ram Jhula is one of the only towns in all of India that follows the old ways by restricting smoking, alcohol and meat eating. Just across the bridge or up the road to another town you will find heavy smoking in all the stores and restaurants and on the streets.
Restricting these kinds of behaviors in the town of Ram Jhula attracts a completely different kind of people that are interested in respecting the old world Yogic Veda spiritual and cultural ways of the Yogi Guru teaching process. If you want these other activities you can walk across the bridge or up the the town just above Ram Jhula. But we choose our location because it is one of the last yoga towns in all of india that upholds these yoga values, traditions and yoga spiritual principles.

Shiva Yoga School was inspired after our founders Sabrina Hana Sirt and Michael Angelo Leone who made a journey to India to complete their own 500hr RYT Yoga Teacher Training.
Sabrina and Mike attended their own Yoga Teacher Training for 500hr RYT certification over 75 days of ongoing classes. They had wonderful teachers but the school was not managed well and there was a lot of things that were unorganized or the owners of the school was constantly trying to cut corners to save a dime at the expense of their schools quality and reputation. The yoga teachers from the school were wonderful and introduced Sabrina & Mike to their gurus and their teachers. And on their spare time between their own classes they would venture out and meet teachers from all the other schools in the area finding out who knows how and how everyone in the yoga teaching community is connected, and even related to each other.
