Vedanta is the end of knowledge where the Upanishad start. Veda, it comes from Vid Dhatu. Veda means to know Knowledge/Wisdom and Anta means the end of the knowledge. Vedanta it comes from Uttara Mimansa Scriptures describe by Maharsi Veda Vyasa. Vedanta showed how to get a happy and peaceful life in Society. Vedanta declared Brahma Satya Jagat Mithya Jivo Brahma Na Parah. Brahman/Cosmic energy is real and the world is unreal/ignorance and the individual being and Brahman are not separate from each other, both are one and the same. This is called Adwaita(which is not divided) Philosophy. According to Indian Philosophy, there are six types of Philosophy among of them Uttara Mimansa is Adwaita Philosophy.
