Ubud Yoga House
Sheila Burch began her yoga practice in 1981 in Santa Barbara, California. She has studied yoga in, Nepal, Thailand, China, France, Azerbaijan and Bali and attended the world renowned Ramamini Iyengar Yoga Center in Pune, in September 2013 where she studied directly with the Iyengar family.
Sheila is a world traveler and an international educator who has taught in international schools around the world for the past 20 years. She brings her vast teaching experience to her yoga classes and is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher. Her classes are Iyengar based and incorporate different yoga styles including Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga.
Ubud Yoga House
Sheila opened The Ubud Yoga House in April, 2014. The Yoga House is located in the rice fields on the path to Sari Organic Restaurant, near the Pomegranate Restaurant and the Dragonfly Retreat Center. Daily classes at the Ubud Yoga House will offer the magic and serenity of yoga and meditation in the rice fields as the day begins and ends. All classes are student centered to meet the individual needs of beginners, intermediate and advanced students.

There was no way of knowing that a young boy who grew up in the streets of a foreign land would one day realize his dreams. In the process, he too inspired his family and thousand of European Fitness Center members to make working-out an important part of their lives and to always fight for your dreams.
When David walked into a boxing gym at the age of 14, he quickly saw boxing as an opportunity to escape his oppressed life situation. Which was no education, a hostile environment, no father and numerous siblings without enough food to go around.
David's dream since he was a little boy was to come to America. His family and friends constantly told him that it was an impossible dream. With unrelenting determination and mental fortitude that made him a successful professional boxer, he kept trying to obtain his dream.
There was 10 years of setbacks and disappointments. Then David finally made his dream a reality for himself and his family. He was older with kids, and past his prime. He did not speak english, had no money, and a family to support. Even though it was a very difficult and challenging time, David was happy to be in America. He believed that there would be better opportunities in the future, if not for him, then for his children.
Throughout his life, he was dedicated to his work-outs, stayed strong and in shape. He instilled this lifestyle in his sons and grandchildren. Destiny brought him to European Health Spa where his family realized his ultimate dream...they own and manage the European Fitness Center. As years past and memories fade David will always be remembered as you walk into the lobby of European Fitness Center and admire in awe at the pictures of David Abittan.
Naked Yoga Los Angeles (LA) is a coed nude yoga studio in Venice, CA offering naked Yoga classes to all levels.We offer a variety of yoga styles and are constantly trying to create new classes, styles, workshops, and yoga tutorials to get the beginning yoga up and running and to deeper the practice of the more practiced Yogis.

The Givatayim Pilates class at Fitness Junkie is nothing like any other training method we know. Usually with other training methods we will do many repetitions of a certain muscle while adding loads such as swinging a leg with a dumbbell on the ankle
In Pilates, we will focus on lifting the leg without swing but slow and controlled work while slowly lifting the leg and focusing on collecting core muscles to prevent swing from the spine while contracting the relevant muscle (buttocks in this case) regularly and continuously to lift the leg inch by inch
This method allows you to isolate the work on the desired muscle without the need of adding weight and allows the body to swing from other organs so that only the desired muscle works. The tapping in this work is evident in proper work overtime
In addition, the focus on working on the core muscles during Pilates classes and incorporating controlled breathing also contributes, among other things, to narrowing the scope.
