About the Mandorla Yoga Institute
The Mandorla Yoga Institute is a Registered Yoga School offering Yoga Alliance approved yoga teacher training at the 200 hour (RYT200) and 300 hour (RYT500) level. Teaching teachers since 2007, all of our programs are specifically geared toward adult learners from the formatting of the curriculum to the flexibility in which you can complete your coursework. Mandorla teacher trainings have a history of creating solid, knowledgeable teachers with an awareness of the history and philosophy of yoga as well as excellence in the teaching of therapeutic adaptive yoga. Drawing on influences from Thai Yoga Massage, Yoga Therapy, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Myofascial research, TCM, Ayurveda, Orthopedic Exercise Principles, and Kinetics; Mandorla teachers graduate with a strong foundation that enables them to excel as teachers and communicators. We pride ourselves in offering a training that embraces and encourages a wide view of what a yoga teacherâ€™s path can be. While students are taught how to teach in a studio atmosphere, we also facilitate an integrated yoga approach that sees yoga weaved into many other avenues, professions and outlets. The goal of the Mandorla Instituteâ€™s teacher training is to facilitate the opening of awareness in each student so that the student may come to have a better relationship with themselves and others. Mandorla Yoga implements breath-work, meditation and asana within its classes to facilitate this in a non-dogmatic and embracing way for all of its students under the premise that the best teachers are those who form a relationship with their students and provide a nurturing environment. How that environment is shaped, is entirely up to you.

"Stefani is a beautiful and talented woman who has helped shape my second pregnancy in a very positive way. During my first pregnancy, I suffered from a lot of lower back pain. I tried massage therapy from three different practitioners, and each time my discomfort was extremely aggravated. So when I first went to see Stefani as a pregnant woman, I was hesitant and a little nervous. I shared my concerns with her, and I felt heard. She took time to discuss with me treatment options, as well as to explain the science behind what was likely causing my pain after a thorough assessment.
