We recommend you book this massage the first day you arrive. One hour relaxation massage combined with 30 mins therapeutic face massage and 30 minutes relaxing foot massage 2 hours.
A two-hour dynamic Vinyasa Flow Yoga practice is scheduled mid-morning, in the shade of the seafront shala overlooking Patnem beach. Synchronizing breath and movement, this will be offered in a step-by-step format, starting with a slow and easy warm-up and gradually building in intensity, postures linked together in a creative flowing sequence. As the week progresses we will incorporate a variety of more challenging poses, building strength, stamina and flexibility and allowing everyone to progress at their own pace.

Built on the fine white sand every season after the monsoon rains, using local organic materials, our bungalow style beach huts are simply stylish, comfortable, private andeco-friendly. Located directly behind the Ocean Shala and beachfront lounge, and just steps from Patnem beach, our boutique bungalows are designed to help you reconnect with nature. Whether watching the eagles soar overhead from the hammock on your balcony, or falling asleep to the sound of the waves, the normal stresses of life melt away and you will feel open to a more profound yoga practice.
Each bungalow beach hut at Bamboo Yoga Retreat Goa has one double or two single beds with comfortable European style mattresses, good linens and mosquito netting, set in a spacious airy room with plenty of room to hang your clothes and store your belongings. Constructed to make use of the natural ventilation from the cooling sea breeze, they also have ceiling fans for more tropical times of year. Attached bathrooms with western style toilets are open to the sky for the magical experience of showering under the stars.
All of our Bungalows have beautiful natural panoramas views / sea view overlooking Patnem beach, and you can choose between a Beachfront Sunset Bungalow, an Ocean Mountain Bungalow, or an Ocean Temple Bungalow, which is quieter at night with its peaceful garden setting. You can book a private room, share with a friend. Teachers will match yogis for room sharing on retreats. Regular housekeeping is available, with fresh linens on request, although we ask guests to bring their own towels for the beach. The bungalows can be locked when you go out, and free wifi is available in the lounge area. Our food, like every part of our Goa yoga retreat centre, is all about flexibility and balance. It is wholesome and nutritious, cooked with love and without compromising on flavour. At Bamboo Yoga Retreat in Patnem beach, Goa our restaurant focuses on healthy locally sourced food, organic wherever possible and international cooking by our team of highly trained passionate chefs.
To start your day we prepare a freshly squeezed juice of the day, which could be watermelon and ginger, or pineapple lemon and mint, to cleanse your body and give you an energy boost for your sun salutations.
There is also a big fresh tropical fruit salad every morning. A big brunch is served after the morning yoga session, homemade yoghurt, local Goa breads, eggs and muesli, with some indian inspired vegetable dishes and salads for those who’ve built up an appetite with their exertions. And then time to relax and watch the waves from our beachside lounge with a herbal tea orn chai.
A selection of snacks, salads, super juices and smoothies are available all day at our restaurant, along with daily specials based around seasonal produce from the local market. We serve a selection of teas and locally baked cookies in the afternoon before your Yoga class to give you an energy boost. For dinner our menu changes daily, and includes deliciousn and Asian vegetarian dishes, salads, fresh sustainable fish and seafood is also possible to order on the day. All of it is lovingly prepared to help your body’s restoration and growth, but most of all to taste great! If you have special dietary requirements, or just don’t like spicy food – please let us know. Dinner can be ordered a la carte, or there is a big buffet in the restaurant if you are on retreat. Special meals around a communal table will be held every week for Yoga holidays, and we also put table on Patnem beach under the stars for special occasions. Yoga Retreats in Goa are full-board so that the menu can work with your program, whether supporting weight loss, detoxing the body or focusing on raw food. We offer refillable mineral water to eliminate plastic bottle waste, and use filtered water in our kitchen. With our team that is made up of Nepalese chefs and Heidi who is a nutrional advisor you will not be disappointed the food is delicious, we are famous for our food.
