“Hatha yoga” is a rather broad category, containing many different styles and techniques of yoga. Nevertheless, it is one of the most ancient yoga systems, and is concerned mainly with pranayama (breathing exercises) and asanas (yoga postures). Ha – Sun & Tha – Moon – the combination of hot & cold, male & female, left & right or balancing of body . By deploying these two techniques together, one is able to completely relax and empty the mind, allowing for a deeper level of meditation to be achieved. Although not as physical as other forms of yoga, its spiritual effectiveness means that it is still an extremely popular choice. While hatha has moved a long way from its origins, it is now generally used to refer to gentle yoga poses and techniques, taken at a slow pace, that makes it an excellent choice for beginners. If you wish to become a yoga teacher yourself, then it would be a very good idea indeed to learn all about hatha yoga, so that you can ensure you are well equipped for students who are just getting started with their yoga journey.
Ashtanga yoga is, in many ways, the polar opposite of hatha. It involves a series of intensely physical yoga postures, or asanas, in order to completely focus the mind on a single activity. By doing this, one is able to channel the body’s innate energy more effectively, both through the use of locks, or bandhas¸ and by focusing on one fixed point, a practise known as drishti. Ashtanga is an ancient form of yoga, but it was lost for many years. It was only in the last couple of decades that the ancient Sanskrit text of the Yoga Kurunta was rediscovered by the yoga master K. Pattabhi Jois, and it is thanks to his efforts that it has become one of the foremost yoga forms of today. In Jois’s method, the asanas are followed in strict sequence, and all classes are preceded by a Sanskrit chant to Patanjali. It is not for the faint of heart or the weak bodied, and is therefore recommended as a more advanced class.
Restorative yoga sequence is brought it by Yoga Guru B.K.S Iyengar who worked with props and helped to body parts to become flexible. There are five between 10 yoga relaxation asana posture practice advised by Guru Iyengar from traditional Hatha yoga India arranged it to a sequence of postures to work over Intensive yoga asana. It is formed as Vinyasa flow yoga. It is becoming a popular style of yoga across globe and youngster are a big fan to start their yogic journey from vinyasa flow and restorative yoga. It is not very common now to just stuck with one yoga style with the growing trends of Yoga. It is found quite useful in daily practice as people who do not generally practice pranayama in daily life is getting their useful practice in vinyasa & restorative yoga training practices.

Vinyasa yoga is a special form of yoga where one breath is associated with one movement. It is called flow yoga because of the regularized way in which the poses go. The person performing Yoga elegantly changes the pose and the breath, making it look like a choreographed dance form. The breath and the transitions act as connections in the asanas. The breath is the primary factor and it changes with every pose of the asana like we do in Sun Salutation.
