Our huts are located just a 10 minute drive from the LOVE THE GREEN retreat centre on a stunningly undeveloped beach- Galgibagh a.k.a Turtle Beach. This is one of Goa's last rudimental beaches but it is slowly changing. The beach is quiet so it is very condusive for those wanting a really, really relaxed holiday. Perfect for Yogis. (If you do want lively nightlife it can be found just 15 minutes drive away at Palolem & Patnem beaches.) There is a freshwater lagoon at the south end of the beach and the sea offers good surf at certain times of the year. The location has a handful of restaurants serving the best and incredibly fresh seafood straight off the boat- try the oysters and crab and other authentic local dishes. Now is a perfect time to enjoy this pristine beach. When we built these huts we had one thing in mind - being extremly comfortable whilst living on a beach in a fabulous hut, Goa stylee. The beach huts have large glass windows with sea views. So you can lie on your bed whilst enjoying the seascape. Your entrance is a chill out terrace complete with a hand crafted wooden day bed and huge cushions to lounge on. There are also two chairs and a table, ideal for intimate meals together. This leads into your decent sized bedroom with a comfy bed, side tables and lamps and plenty of hanging space for your gear. The bathroom is huge and indoor/outdoor in style. Fitted with a powerful shower, big wash basin, a spotlessly clean working toilet (not always the case in) and plenty of space for your toiletries and cosmetics. Towels and a bamboo hanging ladder are provided. The huts are located next door to the well known Surya Restaurant, so grab a menu, check out the catch of the day and they will bring delish food and drinks straight to your outdoor terrace. Life couldn't be simplier!
