World Of Yoga

Namrata initiated World of Yoga in Goa, in 1999; as an institution that could spearhead a change... in the way people perceived health & fitness; at a time when little was known or practiced of Yoga in Goa. World of Yoga is one of the first organized schools of Yoga that focuses on using this science for managing stress & giving relief to people with chronic psychosomatic disorders. World of Yoga, Goa imparts both theoretical & practical training in the techniques of Yoga to individuals, educational institutions & corporates. It spearheads Corporate training, Productivity enhancement and Stress Management programs. Over the years, World of Yoga has had some of the most prestigious business houses as clients. In 2013, World of Yoga diversified into Ayurveda... introducing therapeutic programs which aid people to alleviate lifestyle related problems such as weight management, back problems, allergies, insomnia, migraine, endocrinal disorders, etc World of Yoga has since taught & transformed hundreds of lives by spreading Yogic knowledge & teaching techniques of our ancient science. The effort is to reach out to as many people as possible & to make them aware that Yoga can be used to transform the quality of their lives in all spheres... in awesome, unimaginably positive ways... personally & professionally. Namrata did her graduation in Economics from St. Stephens College, Delhi; and a post-graduation in economics from JNU, Delhi. She was awarded the All India Research Fellowship by the UGC after she completed her Masters from JNU. She then did an MBA from IRMA (Institute of Rural Management), in Gujrat. She has also done a post graduate diploma in Communications from MICA (Mudra Institute of Communication), Ahmedabad. Namrata then spent over a decade in the Corporate world, where she held various portfolios in sales, marketing and advertising with some of the biggest names & brands in the Industry ITC Ltd, Ogilvy & Mather, Hindustan Levers, JWT, etc. She was also a Visiting Faculty at various Management institutes across the country like XLRI, Jamshedpur, Loyola Institute of Business Mngt, Goa Institute of Mngt, Goa University, etc where she taught Sales, Marketing & Advertising. In 1999, Namrata gave up the Corporate world and set up World of Yoga, an internationally registered school of Yoga in Goa. She is a Yoga Acharya, Yoga Shiromani & Yoga Bhaskara from the Sivananda International Vedanta Academy..who has spent over two decades in the intense study and practice of Yoga. She is also a Black Belt in Karate from the International Shotokan Headquarters, Japan. Namrata initiated World of Yoga in Goa, in 1999; as an institution that could be an instrument of change.
