At the Mangosteen Resort we don’t just offer you a hotel room! We have created your own home away from home, hardly comparable with what is known as standard hotel accommodation. With great attention to detail, we have created unique little Mangosteen Villas, functional as well as beautiful. Using natural materials extensively, local tropical style and authentic feel have been preserved.
The Interior Design has been created by Australian artist John Underwood. John has a wealth of experience in designing hotels and resorts, such as The J.W. Marriott in Phuket and various Four Season Resorts. His style could be described as “down to Earth”, using rich colors and heavy, natural materials.
The Restaurant with its open show kitchen and wine cellar offers a la carte Mediterranean delights with Asian tastes in a refreshing open-air setting. For classic Home-Style Thai Cuisine, we will present you a separate menu, which includes many famous Thai dishes. Our Ayurveda & Wellness cuisine, vegan and organic, is part of our wellness retreat programs, tasty and healthy.
Everything is freshly prepared, which means it does sometimes take a bit longer. Special requests are always welcome, so if you are looking for something not on the menu, please let us know.
