The yoga courses are imparted by experienced yoga teacher Vijay, having decades of practice and experience as a yoga teacher. Vijay graduated as a Hatha yoga teacher in April, 1993 from Bihar School of Yoga in Munger.

Our curriculum exceeds Yoga Alliance standards, and upon completion students may register at the RYT-200 level.The 200 hour Hatha & Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training Program is a traditional yoga programdevised with years of experience and practice by Master teacher Vijay Amar. This course will help you gain strength, flexibility, control on yourself and a sense of completeness. Our 200 hour yoga teacher course will lead you through preparatory and advance sequences of primary Ashtanga in a dynamic Vinyasa flow.
The Universal Yoga Center 300 hour teacher training course in Goa & Dharamsala, are designed to help you become a leader and an expert professional in your yoga community. You know the basics of leading a yoga class – now develop your authentic voice, refine your teaching skills and start offering your students more intelligent, effective and inspiring offerings. Graduation from a Yoga Alliance-registered 200hr teacher training is a prerequisite for this program.The daily classes will be focusing on practice of breathing exercise / pranayama, yoga therapy, vinyasa yoga, hatha yoga and ashtanga yoga styles and in-between lectures on yoga sutras and anatomy by specific expert teacher of our center. This 300 hour yoga teacher training will empower you with both teaching and self practice at advance level. After the completion of the 300 hour yoga teacher training India you will be able to teach yoga to beginners as well as advanced level students in your classes. You will also be able to teach various yoga styles like hatha, ashtanga & vinyasa with confidence. You will learn very useful and practical anatomy and physiology of asanas and you will learn how to apply this knowledge in your teaching classes in your yogic career.
Our 500 hour program allows you to combine the Yoga Alliance 200 hour and 300 hour requirements into a single course. This option represents a deep commitment to the yogic path and will prepare you to teach within your community. Upon completion, you will be eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance and teach at the RYT-500 level. Once registered, an RYT-500 may provide credit-bearing continuing education classes and workshops to other yoga teachers. The 500 hour yoga teacher training course in Goa and 500 hour teacher training course in Dharamsala, is a combination of 200 hour and 300 hour certification courses beginning with the basic or beginner level gradually furthering to intermediate and advanced level yoga teaching. The 500hr advanced training focuses on a deeper understanding of anatomy & physiology and its application to the traditional yoga philosophy. We train our future yogi teachers to understand the body and the practice so that they can understand how to apply the practice to the individual with any style or level of practice to create a proper balance.

By Air: Goa’s international airport, Dabolim, is 29 km from the capital Panaji. There are many flights from Delhi to Goa.
By Train: Goa’s two main stations are at Margao and Vasco da Gama. Vasco-da-Gama and Margoa are connected by train from Mumbai, Delhi and Agra etc.
By Road: Goa is well connected by roads. There are regular bus services to Mumbai, Bangalore, Hampi and other destinations from the Kadamba bus stand at Panaji.
